The Agents Companies seeks highly motivated, proven, and skilled mechanics to join our Indian Trail, NC. Team. As a mechanic, you will service and provide maintenance for large trucks in the foundation coating and material spreading division. Also, maintenance and service will be required for a fleet of 250 vehicles in the shop and, if needed, on the road. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Automotive Lube Tech
• Diesel experience helpful but not necessary
• Drive and operate vehicles safely. Provide mechanical support for all vehicles in our fleet. Must be able to bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat & kneel as necessary to perform the job duties.
• All candidates for hire must be physically fit.
• Ability to work outdoors and indoors.
• Lift to 70 lbs. repetitively.
• Provide excellent service to staff and customers.
• Able to work a flexible schedule for as many as 10-12 hours a day occasionally.
• Prompt, daily attendance at the assigned work location.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

• Safe driving record and history.
• Pass drug test and have no prior positive tests or refusals.
• Diesel engine repair: 5 years (Required)
• Mechanical knowledge: 5 years (Required)
• Diagnostic software: 5 years (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $30.00 per hour
